The Garden Army

We’re really proud to that Full Circle Farms are working with Garden Army, an organisation set up to provide therapeutic horticulture sessions to aid mental well-being.

When I first started growing here at Full Circle Farms I took for granted how important it was for me to be outside. Then I meet my mate Dave Gee an ex-military policeman and all round nice fella.

He was trying to help a few ex army boys suffering from PTSD. I asked the question would a bit of horticultural therapy help them? (Gardening with a posh name) And we got chatting and came up with a plan.

The garden army a team of ex military personnel and people suffering from PTSD and other mental health issues. This project has now started and we have opened the doors even wider and we have decided to not limit things to just ex-Army but to anyone suffering.
