New partnership with Oathall Community College

If you were listening to BBC Radio Sussex today you would have hear that we’ve now partnered with Oathall Community College in Haywards Heath. The secondary school has an amazing working farm on-site and inspired our founder Tom to start out in horticulture when he left at 16.

We will be working with small groups of students carrying out tasks like seed planting and propagation at the school farm. We’ll also be working with Oathall schoolchildren to set-up the greenhouse and take down the old polly-tunnel, creating new growing plots on campus. 

As the partnership develops we will share more news about how we’re getting young people involved in agriculture, farming and horticulture.
